Internships at Santipur College are an integral part of our commitment to experiential learning and holistic education. In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Internship Programme aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application by providing students with meaningful exposure to professional, social, and research environments.

Through internships, students gain practical skills, workplace experience, and a deeper understanding of industry practices, community engagement, and emerging career pathways. Internships may be undertaken in offline, online, or hybrid modes, depending on the nature of the programme and availability of opportunities.

Objective

The Internship Programme of Santipur College is structured to strengthen experiential learning and enhance student employability in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The objectives of the programme are as follows:

1. To integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience through structured exposure to professional, industrial, academic, and social organizations.
2. To enhance students’ employability and career readiness by developing domain-specific and transferable skills.

MOU details

Santipur College has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Internship- Center of Vocational & Internship Excellence, Globsyn Crystals Building Regus 102 Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700091, to facilitate structured internship programmes and skill development opportunities for students. This collaboration aims to enhance experiential learning by providing students with industry exposure, practical training, and certification in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The MoU supports the academic and professional development of students by bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.
