Faculty Mentorship System

Students are free to approach or contact over phone or email at any time with their assigned mentors (departmental teachers) for academic guidance and general support.

Career & Academic Counselling

Guidance regarding academic planning, career pathways, and higher education options are given by departmental teachers from time to time.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism/ Gender Harassment/ Equal Opportunity Cell

Santipur College has a structured mechanism or system to address academic or institutional concerns.

The Grievance Redressal Cell addresses and resolves student and staff complaints, ensures fairness and transparency, and maintains a supportive and harmonious campus environment.

The Gender and Sexual Harassment Cell ensures a safe and respectful campus, addresses complaints of gender discrimination or harassment, spreads awareness on gender sensitivity, and promotes equality and dignity for all.

The Equal Opportunity Cell ensures inclusivity, safeguards rights of marginalized students, promotes equitable access to academic and extracurricular activities, and addresses discrimination or barriers in the college.

  4. On 24th March 2025, The Honourable Supreme Court of India emphasized the urgent need to address mental health concerns among students in higher education institutions.

The Honourable Supreme Court of India constituted a National Task Force under the Chairpersonship of Justice (Retired) S. Ravindra Bhat. The Task Force includes experts from various domains.

Its mandate is to deliberate on student mental health issues, recommend preventive measures to reduce student suicides, and strengthen support systems across higher educational institutions.
